Getting Java 3D to Work
=======================
Andrew Davison, ad@fivedots.coe.psu.ac.th, June 2007

The HelloUniverse.java example in this folder is a small
Java 3D program which I've copied from the Java 3D
site at https://java3d.dev.java.net/, and modified
to make it a bit simpler.

This program can be used to test your installation
of Java 3D.

Follow these steps:

--------------------------------------------
1. Install Java.

Java can be found at:
  http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

After the installation, you can check matters by
executing the folowing at the command line:

  java -version

--------------------------------------------
2. Install Java 3D.

Java 3D can be found at:
  https://java3d.dev.java.net/

The downloads for Java 3D, which include examples, are at:
 https://java3d.dev.java.net/binary-builds.html

--------------------------------------------
3. Test your Java 3D Installation.

In this directory, do the following at the command line:

Compilation:
  javac HelloUniverse.java

Execution:
  java HelloUniverse

You should see a spinning 3D colored cube in its own window.

If something goes wrong, it means you haven't installed
Java or Java 3D correctly.
