The Department of Computer Engineering is ranked among the best computer engineering departments in Thailand. Our research programs have always been at the forefront of the important technologies that impact the society. Many of our lecturers are the leading and renowned researchers and all of us have decent experience in being consultants to industry as well as the general public.

Currently, the Department has received many research grants. The internal sources of such grants are our Faculty of Engineering and Prince of Songkla University. Besides the internal grants, we have obtained external grants from various prestigious government organizations such as the National Research Council of Thailand, National Electronic and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), Thailand Research Fund (TRF), and private sectors. In addition to grants which contribute to a plenty of scholarships for our postgraduate students, we are well equipped with advanced tools, super computers, fast network connection and superior learning environments.
